Exploring Immigration in the United States

This student-led teach-in will explore the social myths, political frames and historical trends related to the immigration debate in the United States through interactive dialogue. Guest speakers include Ruth White, associate professor of social work, Won Kidane, assistant professor of law, and Tom Murphy, S.J., associate professor of history. The event is organized by students in SOCL/SOCW 317 (Race and Ethnicity) and is sponsored by the Office of Multicultural Affairs. Food will be provided.
