Film Screening and Q&A with Community Organizers

Papers: Stories of Undocumented Youth

Monday, October 11, 6:00PM
Pigott Auditorium

Please join us for a campus screening of the film Papers: Stories of Undocumented Youth, which addresses issues facing undocumented immigrant high school and college students. Those attending will receive resources about immigration and policy reform, as well as questions to help them critically analyze the film.
Immediately following the film, two community organizers, Alonso Chehade (Washington DREAM Act Coalition) and Sandy Restrepo (El Comité Pro Reforma Migratoria y Justicia Social), will share their perspectives about immigration policy reform. A brief Q&A will follow.
Sponsored by the Office of Multicultural Affairs, Graduate Student Council, International Student Center, MEChA, Muslim Students Association, Society of Feminists, Student Bar Association, SU Student Development Association, and Triangle Club. (Questions: oma@seattleu.edu or 206-296-6070)
